As preparation, we paused, focusing inwards together in a moment of meditation, through guided word and sound led by Sarah. We opened into multi-perspectives of the ways of living waters, to access new or forgotten ways of eco-cruising-into-mutuality.

As healer-heirachy is descentered and inverted, flattened, elements and interactions and relation takes on the central position as ‘healer/healing’.

This is a ‘Land as Pedagogy’ or ‘Elemental Earth as Pedagogy’ approach.

Pol Merchan invited us into an audiovisual ecosystem of entangled bodies, waters, pixels, and memories.

𝑺𝒍𝒐𝒃𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝑷𝒆𝒆 explores the interconnectedness of space—natural and urban, visible and invisible—and its inhabitants, human and non-human, tracing the traces of their multiple interactions. A projection at the Kaulsdorfer Baggersee (Habermannsee) places the artwork, the screen, and the viewers within a dynamic of intra-action.

The screen integrates with the landscape, while ambient sounds and birdsong form the soundtrack.

Art in Public Space

Connecting with the elements or entering into ecological intimacy always requires some kind of inner resistance, distance, or acceptance, (surrender to) of the social and mental speed of our culture. This offering was made on a busy day at a crowded Lake, which also meant we were journeying within sound pools of a busy social sphere moving around us.
