Sarah Martinus is a conceptual artist working with process and holistic energy practices. She is producing painting, drawing, sound, action with a focus on experience. Her interests are often focused on expression of concurrent metaphysical spaces.

Higher importance is put on authenticity and chance of creation rather than aesthetic or structural planning of an end product. Importance is noticed within random occurrences, improvisation.  Non-traditional materials are welcomed for their liberating qualities.

Sarah defends an innovative, interrogative and subversive position, in multi coloured, yet organic forms.

Her process is grounded within a practise of core shamanic ritual, and is influenced by mythology, philosophy, aktionist art theory, neo-concretism, radical sustainability [transformability] and tied closely to concepts of abject art.

Individuals may integrate their subconsious matter (dreams) into her work via private experience accessed over an online archive,

Sarah is a psychotherapeutic health practitioner in training, (Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie und Psychologischer Berater e.V.), respecting core-shamanic techniques learnt through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Europe.
